Supporting Indonesian government maritime policy, through diponegoro university main scientific interest

Abstract
The Government of Indonesia currently has a general policy that leads to the development and implementation of maritime culture. This is evident from the many policies that emphasize the wide range of marine programs. Through the various technical programs included in the Nawa Cita policy of the Indonesian government today must be fully supported by all elements of the nation. The college as one of the educational institution should be an important supporter especially through tri dharma colleges by applying the results of research and innovation in society and nation building. Diponegoro University in this case strongly supports the policy as it is in accordance with main scientific interest ie coastal region eco development. © 2017 American Scientific Publishers All rights reserved.
