Nandana Nararya Widyatna, a Marine Science student from Diponegoro University (Undip) class of 2021, has successfully received a student exchange scholarship to Korea Maritime & Ocean University (KMOU), Busan, South Korea. This opportunity is part of a collaborative program that has been established between KMOU and Undip since 2022. This program aims to strengthen academic and cultural relations between the two universities and provide opportunities for students to gain international experience in the marine and maritime fields.
Since this collaboration began, 20 Undip students have participated in the student exchange program at KMOU, and 13 of them are from the Marine Science Department. Nandana is one of this year’s scholarship recipients, demonstrating his achievements in academics and his enthusiasm in developing insights in a global environment.
This program not only gives Nandana the opportunity to study at one of the best maritime universities in the world, but also to get to know South Korean culture and expand his international network. Nandana’s success in achieving this scholarship is a source of pride for Undip’s Marine Science and is expected to inspire other students to continue to excel and pursue opportunities in the international arena.
Good luck on your study!
