The Awur Gulf Mangrove (KeSEMaT) Study Group is a study group that initially focuses on rehabilitating the ecosystem on the Awur Gulf Coast. KeSEMaT was founded in 1998 by nine students of 1998 Department of Marine Sciences, Diponegoro University (UNDIP) in the village of Awur Bay, Jepara, on October 9, 2001.
Over time, KeSEMaT become an organization that cannot be considered as an eye because it has been able to spread its wings both national and international scale. Various achievements have been inscribed as the first winner won the national level KOMPAS CAMPUS 2012 Green Living and Youth Creativity MANGROVEST program title 2012: Green Coastal, Clean Environment. Even in 2017, KeSEMaT awarded 1 National Best Choice category Wana Lestari Nature Lovers Group of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia.
Speaking about the organization also means talking about members of the organization itself. The number of awards received KeSEMaT the hard work of the members. The hard work taking seriously that produces results very encouraging. Many people think that organizing the academic achievement will be disturbed, but it turns out the student member’s KeSEMaT able to prove that this is not true. As not to be outdone by his organization, its members also successfully won many awards. Here are some of the awards that have been achieved by the member of KeSEMaT:
- Vera Chandra Puspitasari in the year 2013 successfully awarded the Champion Award 1 students (Mawapres) SE-Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPIK) UNDIP

The explanation above illustrates that the organization is very important because it can hone our soft skill abilities more reliable, with the organization also we can get a broad relationship that we can benefit when we have occupied a job bench later. When it comes to sharing time, organizing does not necessarily interfere with academic achievement because we know that academic achievement is also important, the more we learn, the more we will be, and the science can also be applied in the organization.
The point is that we should be able to make the organization and academic as the 2 same lines to make ourselves a well-organized and management person. IAF
