Developing environmentally friendly campus at diponegoro university

Abstract
Campus environmental conditions greatly affect the learning process and results achieved by students. A clean, healthy and comfortable environment will give a positive impact to stakeholders within campus. In general, the fundamental problems faced by Indonesian campuses are related to environmental conditions in the campus, production of waste and pollutants, as well as energy and water usage. Diponegoro University has attempted to develop environmental friendly campus, through improvements to environmental management, waste and pollutants management and reduce the use of energy and water in the campus. © 2017 American Scientific Publishers.
